Partner Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Partner Terms and Conditions ("Partner Terms") govern the relationship between MyHerro Ltd ("MyHerro", "we", "us") and vehicle transport and recovery service providers ("Partners", "you") who register to offer services through the MyHerro platform.

2. Partner Status

Important: Partners operate as independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or representatives of MyHerro. Nothing in these Partner Terms creates an employment relationship, partnership, or joint venture between you and MyHerro. You are solely responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and compliance with applicable laws.

3. Eligibility Requirements

To become a Partner, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old with a valid UK driving licence
  • Hold appropriate operator licences for vehicle transport (where required)
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in vehicle recovery or transport
  • Pass our verification and background check process
  • Maintain all required documentation throughout your partnership

4. Insurance Requirements

Partners must maintain:

  • Public liability insurance of at least 5 million
  • Goods in transit insurance covering vehicles being transported
  • Motor trade insurance for all recovery vehicles
  • Employers' liability insurance (if employing staff)
  • Proof of insurance must be uploaded and kept current on the Platform

5. Vehicle and Equipment Standards

Your recovery vehicles must:

  • Be roadworthy with valid MOT (where applicable)
  • Be properly maintained and in good working condition
  • Have appropriate recovery/transport equipment
  • Display any required operator identification
  • Be clean and presentable to customers

6. Partner Responsibilities

As a Partner, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and honest information in your profile
  • Respond to job requests promptly
  • Arrive at pickup locations within agreed timeframes
  • Handle customer vehicles with care and professionalism
  • Maintain communication with customers throughout the service
  • Complete services to a professional standard
  • Upload completion photos when required

7. Service Level Expectations

Partners are expected to:

  • Accept or decline jobs within 15 minutes of receiving a request
  • Provide accurate ETAs to customers
  • Maintain a job acceptance rate of at least 70%
  • Maintain a customer rating of at least 4.0 stars
  • Respond to customer enquiries within 2 hours during business hours

8. Job Acceptance

Once you accept a job, you are committed to completing it unless exceptional circumstances prevent you. Cancelling accepted jobs without valid reason may result in penalties or account suspension. If you cannot complete an accepted job, notify MyHerro and the customer immediately.

9. Customer Conduct

Partners must:

  • Treat all customers with respect and professionalism
  • Not discriminate against any customer
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries
  • Not solicit customers for off-platform bookings
  • Not share customer personal information inappropriately

10. Payment and Commission

Payment structure:

  • Customer deposits are collected by MyHerro via the Platform
  • The remaining balance is paid directly to you by the customer upon service completion
  • MyHerro may charge a platform fee on bookings (details in your Partner agreement)
  • You are responsible for collecting the balance from customers
  • All pricing must be agreed through the Platform

11. Cancellation by Partners

If you need to cancel an accepted job:

  • Notify MyHerro and the customer as soon as possible
  • Provide a valid reason for the cancellation
  • Frequent cancellations may affect your account standing
  • Customer deposits will be refunded in full for Partner cancellations

12. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes with customers, contact MyHerro support. We will review the case and may mediate between parties. Final decisions on disputes affecting deposits or ratings will be made at MyHerro's discretion based on available evidence.

13. Ratings and Reviews

Customers may rate and review your services. Reviews:

  • Are displayed publicly on your profile
  • Cannot be removed unless they violate our guidelines
  • Affect your visibility and job allocation on the Platform
  • Must not be solicited through incentives or coercion

14. Account Suspension/Termination

MyHerro may suspend or terminate your Partner account for:

  • Violation of these Partner Terms
  • Consistently poor customer ratings
  • Fraudulent or dishonest behaviour
  • Failure to maintain required documentation or insurance
  • Repeated cancellations without valid reason
  • Any conduct that damages MyHerro's reputation

15. Liability and Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold MyHerro harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your provision of services, including damage to customer vehicles, personal injury, or breach of these Partner Terms. You are solely responsible for any damage caused during the transport or recovery process.

16. Data Protection

You must handle customer data in accordance with UK GDPR and data protection laws. Customer information must only be used for completing booked services and must not be retained longer than necessary or shared with third parties without consent.

17. Regulatory Compliance

Partners must comply with all applicable UK regulations including but not limited to the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) Act, Road Traffic Act, and any local authority requirements for vehicle recovery and transport services.

18. Changes to Partner Terms

We may update these Partner Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

19. Governing Law

These Partner Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
